Robert started Birnbaum and Bullock in 1993, a truly couture collection of Bridal Gowns, with design partner Steven Birnbaum. In 2009, wanting to reach a broader audience, Robert launched Robert Bullock Bride. This allowed Robert to design more gowns at an affordable price and bring joy to Brides who could not afford a Couture Gown. Without compromising style, he is able to give a Couture look with a timeless, elegant feel.
Robert Bullock Bride is made up of a small team. We care deeply about our retail partners and the brides that choose to wear a Robert Bullock wedding dress, when there are so many designers to pick from. With us, you'll know you are truly cared for!

At an early age, Robert developed a strong interest in all things fashion-related. With his drive and passion, he is truly a self-taught designer, possessing additional skills in draping, pattern making, and sewing. At age 23, Robert was commissioned to build a factory from the ground up in New Orleans to produce children’s clothing, which gained him impeccable knowledge in manufacturing and overseeing production. In 1993, Robert began designing wedding dresses and he never looked back!
