MEET THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Robert Bullock

A self-taught designer with skills in draping, patternmaking and sewing, Robert Bullock moved to New York in 1990 and launched Robert Bullock Hats. Within months, he appeared on the cover of Women’s Wear Daily as a leading new designer, and the collection was carried by Barneys, Neiman Marcus and specialty stores nationwide.

In 1993, he co-founded the couture bridal collection Birnbaum and Bullock with Steven Birnbaum. Wanting to reach a broader audience, he launched Robert Bullock Bride in 2009 to offer more brides his couture-informed design perspective at an accessible price.
