Since she was a child, Michela Ferriero watched her grandmother, a seamstress, create custom-made garments, and she was fascinated by it. She followed in her footsteps: by the age of 16, she was already working in a bridal boutique, and by 18, she was managing the workshop and coordinating the seamstresses.
At just 23 years old, she decided, together with her husband Lorenzo Albanese, to found the Michela Ferriero maison — a leap of faith that turned out to be a winning bet.
