Marco & María designs and handcrafts its own bridal and eveningwear collections from its atelier in Tenerife, Spain, under the direction of its founders and designers, Marco Marrero and María Díaz. Since its inception, attention to detail, the careful selection of unique fabrics and embroidery, together with the Made in Spain label, are part of the brand’s identity. For more than 30 years, the dialogue with women from different cultures has enriched and shaped their creative vision. Creative Directors & Designers
Born in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain, Marco Marrero and María Díaz began creating together during their university years, exploring from the very beginning their passion for Design and Fashion. In the 1990s, they opened their first atelier and, in 1998, founded the Marco & María brand. Their collections are born from a creative process through which art, history, cinema, music, and the experiences gathered through their travels are transformed into a unique aesthetic universe of their own. With a deep passion for telling stories through design and craftsmanship, they create pieces with a distinctive and timeless identity.
